Missed-Session and Late-Cancellation Fee Policy

If you must cancel or reschedule a session, I ask that you make every effort to inform me at least 48 hours in advance of your scheduled session time, so that I may have the opportunity to offer the hour to another client.
In the event that you miss an appointment without communicating with me, or you cancel an appointment with less than 24 hours notice, you will be charged the full session fee.
It is important to note that insurance companies and other third-party payers will not provide payment or reimbursement for missed/canceled sessions; thus,
CLIENTS WHO MISS OR CANCEL SESSIONS WITHOUT 24 HOURS NOTICE WILL BE PERSONALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FULL FEE THAT I WOULD NORMALLY COLLECT FOR THE SESSION (NOT SIMPLY A COPAY/COINSURANCE AMOUNT THAT THEY MAY USUALLY PAY).
It is my policy to waive this fee one time per calendar year for each client.
